Wat Sirinikom Vanaram (Wat Guar Napai)

Note: Old forum thread from my forum at http://www.megaads.info/forum/viewthread.php?tid=2061&extra=page%3D2. Photo taken using DC.

Today browsed another temple at Napoh, Jitra, a mini temple actually, located a Guar Napai, not sure about the address but its quite easy to get there, just use the northern highway head to Changlun, along the way you will pass through Jitra tol and another special tol that cost RM1.60. After that RM1.60 tol, just drive ahead, you will see Lye Huat Garden on your right, just go straight again and keep you eyes on the signboard that tell "Padang Sira, Kodiang". Until you reach a traffic light junction, turn left in to "Padang Sira" and drive about 5KM, you will see the temple signboard on your right as shown below:

I run some google map and find out the address is listed, click here for the Google Map. Another source from Internet tell the GPS location as 6° 23' 5.36" N  100° 22' 56.69" E . If you use the northern highway to visit Wat Boonyaram, you will sure pass through it, i been pass through it many times when i go to Wat Boonyaram or visit my friend in Padang Sira (or Padang Serai), notice the signboard few times and only entered once last year but didnt take any photos, i rent a mini tobacco takrut of LP Ern last year from this temple. Today i revisited this temple hopefully to bring out more photos and intro to those who are temple kaki.

This is another signboard at the entrance of temple. As you can see this is just a very small temple, im not sure if i should call it as samnak because i dont know how exactly a real samnak look like, i saw a building inside the area of temple that look like Ubosot, im not sure because it doesnt look like the normal Ubosot that we can see from other temple.

I doubt if anyone called this temple as temple of Sangkachai because there are 3 Sangkachai statue i can see inside the temple, 2 infront of main hall and another 1 in a small temple. Dont know why this temple featured the Sangkachai cause i cant communicate with the abbot (Archan Pat) there, he only can speak in Thai.

Main hall with 2 Sangkachai as the guardian. Not a very big space but there is a huge buddha statue inside and 7 days buddha statue.

This temple doesnt offer the amulet of its own but you can rent some stuff from other master such as LP Ern that i used to rent his mini tobacco takrut here. There were more stuff to see when i came last year but today the amulet counter seems lonely with just few items display.

Now intro the abbot of this temple, name is Archan Pat, he is from Songkhla, Thailand. Thats the best i can get, he can only speak in Thai and there is no translator there. He is quite nice with lot of smiling on his faces. When i was there he make me up with: draw yant on forehead, paste gold foil, spread holy water and finally tie my hand with a yellow lucky robes with a small little piece of takrut at the center. He is quite serious when blessing the scared items, took a while for him to bless my amulet. When im done i saw 3 devotees came, i dont know if there are regular devotees or not because i just node with them but didnt chat with them.

Unfortunately i cant speak Thai if not i can korek more info of this monk and temple. It is just a small temple, just few steps to each build, a super mini temple that i ever visited, lolz, quite special. There is a 4-face buddha inside too.

On my way out of temple i saw a snake crossing the road, i stopped the car cause didnt wanna run over it, the snake also stop in the middle of road, stand up and stare on me, a very fierce little snake, look like baby cobra. Then suddenly a car pass over me i dont know if he ran over that snake or not because it looks like he did, but i can see the snake still crawling, i hope the snake is alright.
